Diary of a Wimpy Kid
An animation project for Clarksville Little Theatre’s production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid in June 2026! These animations and drawings were made to assist in scene transitions. They were projected onto the pages of a giant book, and occasionally interacted with by the performers.
In addition to the animations, the director of the production also requested newspapers to use as props. When tackling this project, I used my publication design skills to bring the design to life. Using a combination of recreations of actual drawings from the book, and companion stories, I was able to make something fun and interactive for performers to work with.
